Abstractions
My abstract work depicts my own reality translated into time and space. I use color to express emotions, lines to represent beginnings and endings, and form to achieve balance and imbalance. This work is left to the viewer to create story, experiences had or imagined. My hope is that upon close examination, the viewer takes over as the storyteller and new images and feelings arise. For some pieces, there is no explanation – only a creative journey into the unknown.
